Marine Salvage

With proven patch technology and years of experience of marine salvage, Miko Marine has the capacity to respond quickly to emergencies such as groundings or collisions. We deliver the right equipment and expertise for temporary, but reliable, hull repairs while the ship is afloat.

The Marine Salvage Kit contains several sizes of the FlexiShape Miko Plaster, underwater magnets and supplementary tools required for the installation. Marine salvage equipment is stored at our warehouse and is ready to be sent anywhere in the world at any time. We are committed to promptly responding as requested to marine salvage situations whenever they occur.

Miko Marine has developed the FlexiShape Miko Plaster, which is used world-wide for temporary afloat hull repair. The patches are protected from sharp edges on the shell plating through several layers of aramid fibers and the material is flexible to follow the hull curvatures. The rubber stripes along the edges help improve the seal when secured to the hull surface using the Underwater Fastener.

We supply:

  • Quick delivery of patching equipment
  • Engineering and custom solutions
  • Supervision and on-site support

Questionnaire for marine salvage operations
In order for us to provide the best possible solution to a marine salvage operation, it is important to identify as many pot holes as possible prior to ordering and installing the Miko Plaster. We have prepared questionnaire to help us identify exactly what equipment is needed to repair the vessel afloat. It is also meant to help prepare the divers and installers of the Miko Plaster for the job. Click here to download the questionnaire.
